S.M.Registration Services BMS Backup

This integration supports owner-controlled backup and file recovery for S.M.Registration Services BMS. An authorised Admin or Owner can choose a month and document scope, create a backup copy, and request recovery of an eligible missing file.

The integration connects the organisation’s SharePoint file libraries with a private, app-created backup folder in the authorised Google Drive account. It uses the Google Drive drive.file permission. The worker restricts operations to its own backup folder and does not browse unrelated Drive files.

File sizes and checksums are verified. Backup copies retain their original SharePoint files. Recovery refuses to overwrite an existing target and respects the BMS file-deletion approval process. This is file backup and recovery; it is not a backup of the entire BMS database or every Microsoft 365 setting.

The designated worker computer must be available and signed in to process queued jobs. Google/Microsoft access, storage availability and internet connectivity are required. The integration does not grant general staff access to the private backup store.
